Xiamen was one of four special economic zones in China that implemented the policy of early opening up. It is one of three zones of "China (Fujian Pilot Free Trade Zone". In my country, it is a major LED concentration center. Everyone in the industry regards Xiamen’s LED industry's characteristics as "Xiamen Model". It is one of 14 national semiconductor illumination industrialization bases throughout the country.

The "Xiamen International Lighting Exhibition", is a city branch of the "Ningbo International Lighting Exhibition". The exhibition is dedicated to promoting my country's development in the lighting sector, relying upon Xiamen’s unique free-trade pilot zone, Southeast International Shipping Center and Cross-Strait Regional Financial Service Center and the Cross-Strait Trade Center. It will also deepen the exchanges and cooperate with the lighting industry both at home and abroad.
