This is a great opportunity to see a wide range of historic heavy vehicles. The Classic and Vintage Commercial Show brings together a wide range of classic commercials from the Morris Minor and Ford Transit vans to the well-known marques of the 1950s and 1960s including Fodens and ERFs. The models are available with timber cabs or post-war steel, and fibreglass cabs from the 1960s. Even if you've never had anything to do with commercial vehicles, this event will be a trip down memory lane and a step back in history. Morris Commercial Club is celebrating 100 years of Morris Commercial Lorries. Visit their club stands to see a variety of these historic knights. For those restoring vehicles, there is also a large autojumble related to commercial vehicles, selling spare parts, photos, brochures and models. The Museum also hosts two indoor model shows, with over 160 models displayed on a total of 16 tables. Models from Europe and other countries are also displayed at the model show. Kit or scratch-built, these models bring a new dimension to the show and showcase a variety of scaled models. Tickets for the show also include admission to the Museum and Collections Centre where you can see 400 cars that span over a hundred years of motoring history.
